The Remarkables-What a Perfect Name
Off to Remarkables ski area, north of Queenstown, for a little exploratory mission with Ratty, Gus, Rydor, and Rock Star Matt. Amazing what athletes see in an area. If you were a park rat this would be soggy corn flakes but for big mountain riders this place is epic. The off piste terrain above Alta lake, accessible by a short hike, is littered with massive cliffs and long, run out chutes. Some of which don’t go to the bottom as we discovered on one of our adventures down the unknown. The view from Remarkables ski area is stellar. Lakes and snow capped ridge lines alternate the landscape as far as the eye can see. Thanks Ed and Mo from the marketing department for inviting us to your playground, much appreciated!
