Well it must of been my lucky day as my name was picked out of a hat for a free skydive!!!  Of course, NZone, based out of Queenstown, was giving the heli challenge such a killer deal I would have done it anyway-$150 bucks to chuck your body our of a plane for a 60 second free fall and then parachute to the valley floor.  As a virgin skydiver the buzz is awesome and a lot less scary than expected.  I actually found the whole experience really relaxing, kinda like a dream.  Beginning to get the two mixed up at this point actually.  ”So, now am I awake, because two years ago I swear this was just like a dream I had…”

My highlight was watching Ratty conquer her fear and jump anyway.  The look on her face when after landing was priceless.

Last night, after mimicking birds in flight, was the awards ceremony. Lots of toasts and champagne, slide show, and sneak previews to the footage we may see on next year’s Warren Miller film.  Overall winners were Ted Davenport, Ryan and the KUZMA TWINS!!!!!  Yeah girls-showin’ em how it’s down in the Southland!

The ultimate achievement award goes to Tony “Harro” Harrington.  The man with a vision and the persistance to make it happen.  THANKS HARRO-YOU’RE THE BOMB!
