Susan continues assault on the international stage
September 16, 2009: While the rest of us spent the past couple of weeks riding single-track, paddling rivers and whatever else we do in the summer around here, Crested Butte professional ski patroller and snowboarder extraordinaire Susan Mol was on the other side of the globe competing in the World Heli Challenge in Wanaka, New Zealand.

September 5, 2009: Maria Kuzma from Wanaka repeated her stellar performance in yesterdays event and came out in first place. Current World Champion Susan Mol came in 2nd and Australia’s Rachael Sheidow in 3rd.

Susan Mol Wins Overall Title in Freeride World Tour
April 1, 2009: Susan Mol won in Squaw Valley and thus began her European tour, battling against Europe’s best; the win in Squaw Valley gained her a last-minute bid to the third stop of the Nissan Freeride World Tour in Tignes, France March 8-14.
The Four Freeride World Champions were crowned in Verbier
March 22, 2009: The Freeride World Tour 2009 came to an end with an amazing fourth stage and grand finale: the Nissan Xtreme – Verbier. The Frenchmen, Xavier de Le Rue in snowboard and Aurelien Ducroz in ski, are the Freeride World Champions 2009 while taking incredible victories on the mythical Bec des Rosses. For the women, the Norwegian skier, Ane Enderud, dominated the event thus took her first ever Freeride World Champion title as did the american snowboarder, Susan Mol, who was third today in the competition won by Geraldine Fasnacht.

March 25, 2009: Susan participated in the Freeride World Tour after having won a qualifier event; she then won the Nissan Tram Face in Squaw Valley, USA. Confirming her talent on the European slopes, she took the title ahead of Aline Bock (GER), the other revelation of this season winning in Sochi.

March 18, 2009: In the women’s snowboard, Susan Mol (USA), winner in Squaw Valley, and Aline Bock (GER), winner in Sochi and this season’s revelation will fight for the title. Nathalie Zenklusen (SUI), currently 3rd, could also surprise us.
