Five flights thru the United/Air New Zealand time machine and my body made it, my luggage two days later, and now snow (kind of) five days later.  Wanaka is absolutely beautiful!  The best part-it’s the exact same temperature here in the winter as it is in Crested Butte in the summer!  Ha-I won’t miss a month of summer afterall, just get to interrupt it with snowboarding and a down jacket from time to time.  Oh, and a few heli rides…more on that next week.
