OK, first things first. That was a piss poor performance on a snowboard and no one will convince me otherwise. But, I won and that is FANTASTIC! I’ll take it. 2000 point lead for the Freeride World Tour puts a little fire under my feet and I’m psyched to keep it going.
Room with a view:

Dear Lord, this is a sick venue. Will you please make it snow? Amen

Oct. 10 for 2009. Not a bad day to start the ski season. But for my friend Jeremy its month number nineteen (in a row) of skiing in the Gunnison Valley, breaking his previous record of 18 months in a row. We got our asses kicked for a few rocky turns and a few not to rocky turns. Jeremy had the balls to open it up a bit, I’d rather keep mine, thank you.

We checked out the glow worm caves of Te Aneu, accessed via small water craft deep inside the mountain side. Next was Milford Sound with dramatic cliff faces shooting straight out of the water and littered with cascading falls.

A stroll in the woods for a first hand look at the Rob Roy Glacier.
